Scroll sideways, keep the story
Capture wide web apps, kanban boards, Gantt charts, calendars, and tables that never fit in one viewport. You scroll horizontally inside the frame; FastShot stitches a single seamless image locally.
Most tools only scroll down. FastShot also stitches horizontal scrolling screenshots — wide tables, timelines, and boards — then lets you annotate and OCR on your Mac.

Frame once. Scroll sideways.
FastShot stitches the rest.
Wide content,
one continuous image.
Horizontal scrolling capture
Long pages are common. Wide content is harder. FastShot is built for both — and for the grid when you need height and width together.
Start Area capture with ⌥W and select the code region. Click ↔ Horizontal Scroll in the selection toolbar, scroll right inside the region, then click the green checkmark (Done).
Follow long, unwrapped code across more than five viewport widths, then see the complete wide image.

Classic long-page capture still works. Scroll down through articles, chats, and settings screens. Overlap is detected so seams stay clean.
Need both axes? Use grid scrolling to walk a 2D surface and assemble the full context without juggling multiple crops.
Full screen, a window, or just the area you need — then scroll beyond the frame when the content keeps going.
Horizontal for wide layouts, vertical for long pages, or grid for both. Frame the region, scroll inside it, and FastShot stitches the frames on your Mac.
Add text with a chosen font and size, draw attention to details, or cover a region with blur or mosaic. Review your edits before copying or saving.
Recognize text with local OCR, copy the result, save your image, or pin a capture on screen while you work.
Screenshot editing and OCR happen on your Mac. FastShot does not upload your screenshots or recognized text to a server.
